Playing With Forks

Another day of hunting around in the kitchen for something to serve (oh, dear... no pun intended) as a shot for today, after a very busy day. You get a commenting holiday. You certainly deserve it. :)
This de"serves" a comment! I really liked your pun. No worse than many of mine! :) Love the reflection. Great low-key shot!

I love this shot. It first gave me that sense of the infinity sign and then I also saw a bow tie. I is a lovely abstract that I could probably see other things in, but will stop. FAV

I would never think to do this! At first I thought it was a pair of eye glasses.

I love it when creative people (you) make viewers (me) wonder, how did she DO that and WHAT is it -- only to realize that, duh, they're forks! FAV.

Wow. This took me a couple seconds to see what the subject was. Very creative and great perspective!

@nicoleterheide Hi, Nicole... glad you liked this shot. I have some acrylic (black, opaque) which provides the reflective surface. I also used a dark black cloth as a background (draped over an upright cutting board, for heaven's sake). Lay it out on my counter, turn off most of the lights in the kitchen and... voila! Used a 60mm macro lens for this shot, if I am not mistaken. Hope this helps!
