Then and Now

Sculpture of a buffalo, from the Heard Museum, Phoenix, AZ. The right side (viewing from the front) is textured, suggesting the animal's coat today. The left side is smooth, suggesting the winds of history. Still processing my Arizona images, so here is one for "Flash of Red" b&w February.

Thanks to all who care to visit and comment... each one is a gift of time, which I appreciate very much.

Nice. Love the way you've filled the photo with the sculpture. It gives it a strong and heavy presence which echoes the buffalo exactly!

Really enjoyed reading about the difference in the sides of this sculpture. I like how you've gotten in close to the massive head — it lends a feeling of strength and power to the picture.

This is really a gorgeous piece of art and you have captured it so well. Love the lighting on its back...and the textures are awesome.
