The mailman brought me a new toy today while I was at work... a Lensbaby. Hey... I found one on sale. ;) Here is a first attempt, with some seashells. Maybe because I wish I were at the beach right now? You lucky things, who live near the sea. Don't take it for granted.
This lens will take some getting used to.
My mother-in-law's estate sale is just two days away. Her house sale is soon to follow. Thank heavens for a bit of photography!
Thanks for your kind reception of yesterday's garage street shot. There is construction near my workplace, so sometimes I get lucky.

Ooh good luck with the lensbaby. Will be very interested to hear how you get on. I want one but haven't dared splash out yet. Looks like you can fit it to your EM1 - any idea whether it fits an EM5 as well? Nice shot with the shells - good subject for your first play :)
@pistache This was a bit of a journey. They make Lensbaby lenses which fit Micro 4/3 lens systems. They also make lenses which fit 4/3 lens systems. I guess I should have realized that there is a difference. I got a wonderful price on a Lensbaby which fits the 4/3 lens system, but ended up having to buy an extra lens "transition" piece so that the Lensbaby would fit in my micro 4/3 lens system. Even with the adaptor, I ended up saving about $150 US on the entire package. So... long story short, once you know what your lens system is (I think?? that yours is the same as mine, a micro 4/3), then you shop for the Lensbaby for your camera. They definitely make them, it is just a question of price. ;)
