A shot from the mall, with an "etsooi" high key, low clarity edit. I was trying to reduce all the cluttery visual distractions of the people and the merchandise. It kind of glows, at least to me. I don't usually edit like this, so it was an interesting experiment.
Thanks for your kind reception of my shot from yesterday, the prairie flowers. Very nice. :) Thanks, too, for stopping by.

Very nice, to me it looks like escalators in ice warehouse or some very big chunks of white marble. I have no idea what "etsool" high key is or does. But it also looks very clean. Maybe we can get the bathrooms to look like this.
@trm Hi! "etsooi" stands for "edit the sh*t out of it." :) "High key" means a bright, light exposure and feel. I want my bathrooms to look like this, too!
This is an unusual B&W conversion, you're right...but you're also right about the glow, which makes it very special. I hope you have written down the "recipe" to get it like this (or stored it as a preset in LR)
This is an example of when editing really makes a big difference. I think this photo is stunning. The architecture combined with the effects are wonderful. Great work! Fav.
The bright whiteness of this makes it look like a pristine shopping mall! Great lines created by the escalator. It was only after a bit of study that I realized those are manikins, not people, along the moving staircase.
