Another shot from my visit to the "City Garden," downtown St. Louis. This is one of the splashing fountains, getting ready to bubble up for the kids to play in. During this calm moment, you can see the reflections of the high rise building and trees nearby. I left it in the color to make the parts of it more easily identifiable. Of course, I liked the lines. :)
Thanks so much for your visits and comments for my summertime shot of yesterday. I appreciate it; that little girl was so sweet. Maybe I am feeling sentimental, as a brand-new empty-nest mom. ;)

Very beautiful, and a good eye too, Rosie! I'm glad you left it in color because otherwise I might have assumed it was a drain grid of some sort instead of a reflection.
Instant fav! You really made use of the reflection, and the squares in the reflection are a great contrast to those in the drain. Glad to have been a push!
@taffy You know, this shot was a happy accident, but I appreciate the encouragement to take myself downtown. I loved spending 30 minutes in this park... such a breath of fresh air. A good reminder to "get thyself outside" and see something new. :)
