SOOC The Fisherman by rosiekerr

SOOC The Fisherman

This gentleman was fishing by a small lake. He is sitting on the path, cross-legged, facing the lake. The little ducks came out bright white, which is interesting. I had my camera set on some "contrasty" settings with a b&w filter, but I didn't have time to change them. I liked the way the light came in, looking like a spotlight.

Offered for Richard Sayer's @vignouse "back to basics" challenge this month, explained here: http://365project.org/discuss/themes-competitions/26200/back-to-basics-nf-sooc-2015. .

Moving my mother-in-law this weekend to her new home in a retirement complex. The movers come Monday. I was going to post a shot of her empty hallway, but it was kind of depressing.

Anyway, thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your weekend. :)
Unique light! It looks really neat on black.

Amazing contrast! It sort of matches the mood of the empty hallway. We just went through that with my parents' home of over 50 years, and it is very disconcerting!

@888rachel There is an in-camera black and white filter that I was using, plus some settings... not just settings, so you know. I don't want you to be overly impressed. ;)
