Red Hawk

I took my whiny, over-scheduled, self out to the World Bird Sanctuary this afternoon. I have been meaning to do this for the longest. They do some really great rescue and educational work about these lovely creatures. It was very restful and peaceful, welcome after this frenetic week.

This is a red hawk. You may see some more birds in the future.

Thanks for treating my "Watching the Fountain" shot from yesterday so kindly. I hadn't had a meaningful chance to pull my camera out this week, so it was fun to see something worth photographing and have time to concentrate.
