Standing at the top of the Wellington Arch, on the balcony. Traffic here is just insane. I am such a lame loser about carrying my tripod, so this shot is taken is balanced on the railing - hence, the shorter exposure time.
What a great city... so much depth and interest.
Thanks very much for taking time to visit. I appreciate your generous comments on my shots from this week - very kind.

@cejaanderson Iy is the London Eye. It is on the bank of the Thames River. You can ride it... 30 minutes for a full rotation. We may try it later this week. :)
Great image. You're not alone...I think tripods are overrated. In the rare instance you absolutely need the stabilization, there's usually a way to get it done...as you did with the railing. ;-) Again, very nice. I think the amount of motion blur is just right. Not too little, not too much.
a great shot and ideal time of day - I have been following your tourist photos and enjoyed your commentary - I hope you have had a great time. Although I have an office in the city (and one in Dorset) this is not a view I have seen! although driven around the arch on many occasions!
@handymaurice Oh, so nice of you! We have had a wonderful time. Climb up the Wellington Arches and you can see this, too. Such a fun city... I could photograph it for months.
