These ducks are standing at the edge of the frozen ice... the melted part of the pond is in front of them (hence their aligned reflections). It was dusk, so there is the occasional blur from a moving duck, but I liked how they all stood together, except for a couple of non-conformists, facing out.
10/1/2020: Finished year 7 (!), with continuing gratitude towards this amazing community. Based in St. Louis, MO. Regular worker-bee and self-taught photography dilettante....
@maggiemae I have the most fabulous camera/lenses ever. :) They never let me down. Plus, I rested on the railing of a bridge, because it was getting dark and the shutter speed was too long for hand-held.
FAVulous reflections! Is that s streetlight or the setting sun in the background. Either way, it's lovely. I like the bit of blur from the moving ducks too!
