Swimmer

This is a bug, shot hand-held from underneath, on the glass of my backdoor window. I had to use manual focus, with my macro lens, to (mostly) capture him (her?).

This looks like a swimmer in a pool, viewed from underneath, probably brought to mind by the beginning of the Olympics in Brazil. Some of those swimming photos are just amazing.

I am not good at manual focus, because I don't have the practice and my middle-aged eyes betray me, but so it goes. Maybe a more closed down aperture would have helped, but my target was marching on and there was no time to plan.
