Part of the Missouri Botanical Garden is the Shaw Nature Reserve, about 40 miles outside of town. I took time for a visit this autumn afternoon. Landscapes and reflections are calling to me, these days. :). Maybe it is the season.
The trees are bald cypress trees, growing at the pond's edge. Luckily, the water was calm.
Thanks for such visits as you have time to spare. I appreciate each one.

This is beautiful, Rosie!
The foreground and the background are wonderfully together - the branches that lead into the picture, as well as the parts of the trunks and the reflections of the mentioned branches in the water. Beautifully the arched tree groups on the shore and the reflections. Everything with beautiful lines and clear textures, peaceful in autumnal tinted, still colors. Love it. Fav
Love how the closer vegetation 'frames' the reflection scene. The details are so sharp and crisp - perhaps there's a touch HDR to this photo. It's beautiful!
