The emblem on the trunk of a 1957 Buick Special... a classic car. I wish I could have captured more of it, because it was a beauty, but the entire vehicle was surrounded by visual clutter.
Had a very fun afternoon with @darylo and her delightful daughter, as they wrapped up their collage tour this week. I spared them the camera and we chattered away, instead. So fun, to meet up with other 365ers and their families "in real life." When I began this project, I had no idea that this side benefit would be so meaningful. :)

So glad you had a good visit! I agree with that being a major benefit of 365 that I had never anticipated. Sadly, I remember Buicks like that, though I was a little one at the time.
@taffy This car is older than I am, which feels ridiculous. We had a very nice visit. I feel badly that their flight was delayed, into the wee hours, from Newark, so that they didn't have much sleep last night. Still, a very nice visit.
Wonderful old car, built to last in those days. I remember seeing a few on the roads here. Totally agree about the fun of meeting other 365ers in person. I've enjoyed meeting several here and taking photos, swapping notes and generally having a good time.
@darylo I snagged it before I picked you both up. On a gas station lot on Delmar. :) The station guy told me that it is owned by Joe Edwards, that guy who owns Blueberry Hill and is the developer of the Loop. A brush with fame!
