Sunset Over South Bend

Here we are in South Bend, Indiana. My better half is traveling for work, so I drove up to join him here. A first time visiting here, for me.

The St. Joseph River runs through downtown. They have a whitewater rafting course, called a "race," that runs through town. This is the bottom of it, in the foreground. The town's art museum is lit on the left. More explorations to follow.

Wonderful composition. I was there 7 years ago. Toured Notre Dame with my son and his friend. Mostly unimpressed with the town, except the new area, but it was a brief stay. Probably better now.

SO cool!! I didn't realize South Bend was so beautiful and on the river. I like the way the clouds are lit from below and reflected, and that rush of water that seems to be coming right at me!
