Discovery

This is the Discovery Space Shuttle, viewed at the Smithsonian Museum.

The ceramic tiles on the exterior, charred, were especially poignant, in view of the shuttles which did not return as a result of their failure.

I saw both shuttles nose to nose a couple years ago at the beginning of starting 365. Lots of the astronauts were there too. You captured it well.
