Bellefountaine Cemetery, built in 1850, first large pastoral cemetery west of the Mississippi. Still active, lots of history, plus it's an arboretum, too. Land-locked in the northern part of St. Louis City, an island of serenity.
I wish I had a wider lens on, to catch the entire pond, or had taken time to do a pano, but I was in a hurry. There is a tiny egret standing on the edge (reflected) that I found charming, especially in the city.
10/1/2020: Finished year 7 (!), with continuing gratitude towards this amazing community. Based in St. Louis, MO. Regular worker-bee and self-taught photography dilettante....
