Last Of The Season

Summer is almost over... here is a rose blossom, to mark the occasion. The rose is still pretty perky, but autumn is coming.

Work has been extremely consuming recently, but at least I can sling a camera around my neck when I walk the dog. ;-/

Wonderful choice to fill the frame. Already feeling nostalgic for summer flowers. On the island, not clear to me why our flowers are dying off, gardens fading, but we still have the annoying fruit flies!
