We have left Denver and headed south, towards Colorado Springs. This is the highest suspension bridge in Colorado, completed in 1929, about 1000 feet over the Arkansas River.
You can walk over it, which we did - it is amazing and tummy-dropping. They also have a tram, zip-lines etc.
The tiny specks are people.

Wow That's quite amazing. It seem similar to New River Gorge bridge in WV. I know grown men who are afraid to drive across it! LOL! The Royal Gorge is 100 feet higher, but New River Gorge bridge is 500 feet longer. I can't even imagine what it took to build either of them.
