This little fellow came onto the suet balls as soon as I sat outside the front door this morning and was quite unpeturbed that I had my camera. The blue tits have built a nest in the box attached to the house just near to where my husband works on cars each day. I could hear them tapping on the box. They do this to make sure it is sound before they spend ages building the nest. The tits nest in this particular box each year but I don't know whether they are the same pair. They seem to appreciate all the food I put out for them. I hope I'm not boring everyone with my bird pics but I keep aiming to get better and better pictures
Well, you have done well with this. I like the way you can get suet in ball form, haven't ever seen it that way. Our stuff comes in squares. This photo is very well done.
You have provided not only a home for them but a regular feed as well , the least they can do is let you take a photo...lol - Fabulous capture - he is a very pretty bird!!
