Rose of Sharon

These flower in my garden each year and originally were taken from a cutting in my Mum's garden to my garden in Eaton Socon where I moved following my divorce. It was then taken as a cutting to a house Steve and I used t live in further in the village and is now planted in this garden where I currently live so it's been around a bit! They are very easy to grow but have lovely bright blooms
What - you live in Eaton Socon - so do I!! This is lovely - I used to have one in my garden but took it out as it never really thrived.

Is Eaton Socon big enough for two 365ers who haven't met?? No longer I suspect! Beautiful flower and we had a similar story with rhubarb but unfortunately it didn't survive one move and I had to get a friend to step in. That plant is now at my parents' house and my steer's allotment so it's doing OK!

@busylady I lived in Eaton Socon in 1992 until I sold my house in 1996 or 97. Can't remember which but it was when I moved in with Steve before we got married. Had a trial run first this time! I live in Willington now
