I had to go to Leighton Buzzard today as I am touring the libraries in Central Beds to inform people about the choices open to them if they or anyone they know needs care services. Whenever I go to L/B, I always go through the park in Woburn and today it was very misty as it was damp and gloomy. I stopped on my way back through Woburn to take some pics as it is quite a nice place with little shops, antique shops and restaurants as well as the church and Woburn Safari Park which is part of the Duke of Bedford's estate. You are not allowed to stop and take pics so I had to be very quick and with the engine running, I tried to get some pics of the deer but they were really too far away from the entrance to the park even with my huge zoom on the camera! Anyway, I thought I would post a few scenes in this collage from my visit. Hopefully the sun might shine again next time I pass by that way and I might get some better pics. This is the last pic for July apart from one of my young robin friend that can be found in my Bits & Bobs album
i think your collage is fantastic, even that shot of the deer that you said you did not think came out all that great. wonderful collection of photos. what a lovely area - why are no photos allowed? you did a great job of getting some 'sneaky shots'!
@catsmeowb You are allowed to take photos if you pay to go into the safari park but you are not allowed to stop on the main road through which is where I took the pic of the deer. Thanks for your nice comments
@quietpurplehaze Thanks Hazel. I wasn't sure whether to just post the main pic but decided on the collage. The pictures I took of the church are quite nice and could have been used separately but I think the collage just brings together the flavour of what Woburn is all about
