I braved it at Priory this afternoon but as I was driving through the business park to leave my car, I was met by 6 or 7 police cars coming from the car park. I was a bit mystified and wondered if something had been happening over there. It made me feel a bit nervous but I ventured over the lock where I met an older man and asked him if he knew what was going on but he didn't. He said that a lady on her own had asked him to walk through the trees with her the other day because she was a bit nervous on her own. I put my best foot forward and went over there anyway and I was OK. I must admit I did have my personal alarm and phone in my pocket. It was freezing literally and the lakes were all a bit frozen. This scene doesn't capture the ice at the end by it certainly does portray the cold I believe
Glad you were ok. I think it portrays the cold well. I went to the ponds first thing with new batteries in my camera. Only got three shots before the batteries died!
