Sunning himself by rosiekind

Sunning himself

What a glorious day it has been. It was cold this morning with a slight frost but it has been a sparkling day! This little fellow was sunning himself when I walked along Wood Lane this morning. Last night's talk at the Camera Club was brilliant. Steve Magennis is a wildlife photographer and his pics were amazing. He is also in love with blue tits and I picked up some tips from him last night although they haven't contributed to this one but watch this space. I need to get some props! When I went out to the compost bin tonight a sparrowhawk grabbed a poor little goldfinch off the feeder and it all happened so fast. This time I hadn't got a camera in my hand which was a shame but he flew off with the bird and didn't hang around. From what I've seen they seem to like the taste of goldfinches. What a shame!
Fluffy and cute, looks young.
