It's pouring with rain today so I'm using fillers. This was taken a couple of days ago when the sky was blue and the sun was shining. I'm uploading early as I'm off to visit a chap from the Camera Club (don't worry I've met his wife!) who is going to help me as I need to resize images to enter competitions and they have kindly done it for me so that I can enter next week's competition and the theme is motion and movement. I'm not expecting to do very well as I had to quickly choose some pics last night which I was trying unsuccessfully to resize at 11.20 last night in order to make the midnight deadline! I shall be so embarrassed if they look crap on the screen!
We were supposed to have a chance to ask other members questions relating to photography but the speaker who went totally over my head would not stop talking and even after being asked to stop for the break continued to lecture us afterwards. He was a photo journalist who was probably very talented but didn't have any people skills!
He looks very proud up there at the top of his tree. Sorry to hear your camera club talk didn't turn out too good. I didn't go to the gardening meeting in the end as I ended up with a nasty eye infection - all red and swollen. Not much better today so I'm going back to the doctor's in the morning.
just having a look through your shots. I love these doves ,I used to have some as pets. I know what you meant about resizing, I couldnt get it ubtil one day the light went on and I thought "this is so easy'.
