I've been baking a cake for Steve as it's his birthday tomorrow and when he sings in the pub, he will truly be able to sing the Beatles song "When I'm 64" to himself. He usually sings it for any customer who has a birthday. He plays in a real ale pub in Bedford called the Wellington Arms (Wellie for short) and there are five of them and they call themselves The Old Geezer Band. A good name for them as they are all old geezers!
Anyway, this little robin stopped by for a bath outside the kitchen window
What a fab shot, you've really got a great capture! Fav! Happy birthday Steve for tomorrow. Didn't realise he was a musician - what does he play, or is he the singer?
@busylady He plays guitar, mandolin, harmonica and he also is the main singer. Oh and he bangs a drum with his foot! Well it's improvised (it's actually a case with a microphone in it which just gives a soft beat behind them! He's actually very talented, doesn't read music but plays by ear. I learnt to play guitar but was never good enough to play with them
