I noticed a blue tit coming out of his nest box when I was sitting in the wildflower garden at Priory so I waited patiently and was rewarded when he went back in and then came out again. I got shots of him/her both ways but liked this one. Interestingly, he/she had a ring on his leg so someone obviously knows where he has come from or has gone to.
The feeders were empty so I went into the Centre to ask them to fill up the feeders and tell them what I had seen but the chap I spoke to said I needed to tell the Ranger who was not in his office and wasn't at all interested. What do they do in that centre all day I wonder! Sit there twiddling their thumbs and getting annoyed with people like me who disturb them I suppose!
