St Peter de Merton, Bedford by rosiekind

St Peter de Merton, Bedford

After I walked to the Doctors to pick up a prescription, I backtracked as the sun had come out and the sky was blue and this church looked really nice. Unfortunately, with my 50mm lens, I couldn't get the whole church in as I would have had to stand inside a huge bush to achieve that. Of course, I'm now thinking I should get a smaller lens! Or I could have used my 18 - 105mm lens if I had had it with me!
Beautiful church, textures and colours.

Buildings like these are so fascinating to me which makes this photo of yours most interesting to study! The lines, the textures, the windows, walls, and tower, they're all just wonderful. Even the wrought-iron fence is beautiful!

Thank you for the enthusiastic comment shared on my Muffin picture the other day as well as the fav you gave it.

Never mind, it's lovely to see the detail in a smaller part of the church. I love the red on the roof.

Beautiful church -- I know what you mean about the 50mm -- it's one of my favorites, but I find it frustrating when I simply can't get far enough away to include the whole subject.
