Little and large

I couldn't help laughing at the difference in size of these 2 common birds. The little sparrow just looked so tiny next to the bumbling wood pigeon. I stopped at the bus shelter in Cardington on my way home from work to see whether the swallows had fledged but the parents were still flitting in and out to feed them. However, I couldn't see the little ones in the nest and the parents were just so fast flitting about that I didn't get any shots of them but saw a load of other little birds as I stood there. this is just one of the shots.
