Feeding the young tern

This fellow was feeding his little one on a barrel in the middle of the lake in Priory Country Park today. Sensible really because the bird was quite safe there! If you look at this in large, you will see the little one has his beak wide open and the adult has a fish in his beak ready for his tea!

Sorry I haven't been much good at commenting lately but I've been up to my eyes in it with laptops, phones and Steve has been really grumpy which hasn't helped.
