I made a good decision this morning to go for a quick walk before lunch down Wood Lane as it has clouded over and it looks like rain now! The sun was shining and this dear little robin posed in the tree for me. He was in his usual place near the dapple grey pony's field and lo and behold - the dapple grey was in his field too! I haven't seen him for ages. He's in a field almost next to Beauty's except there's a bit of a spinney between them. Anyway, after giving Mr Grey a stroke, the robin decided that as the pony liked me I must be alright because he then came down on the ground and flew on the fence so that I could get some more shots of him. Of course, I told him what a lovely little fellow he was and although he wouldn't sing for me today, he did give me a chance to get some nice shots of him. I may save one of those for tomorrow because if the forecast is right, it may not be so nice tomorrow.

A wonderful capture - we have a Kite which is swooping the garden at the moment (we used to be so pleased to see her) and all the small birds have disappeared.
