All the birds seemed perplexed by the snow this morning so I gave them extra food and feed them twice a day now the weather is so cold. We only had about an inch of snow overnight and it's beginning to thaw so it's dripping from the trees. However, it did look pretty as I sat eating my breakfast. For some reason the birds seemed worried about perching on the sundial and other places to eat their breakfast. They kept flapping their wings especially the starlings who aren't usually frightened of anything. I've even had a house sparrow on the bird table so it's nice to know that they are coming too. The little coal tit has been eating the nuts but the great tit shoos him away!

That expression could be interpreted as a confused one. What is this white stuff and why is it so cold?? I like all the lines and textures of the background as well as the handsome black bird with the striking beak and eye color.
