Mr Robin was looking for grubs in my vegetable patch which at the moment looks bare apart from the weeds of course! I have planted my potatoes but when I went to sow the seeds for tomatoes, carrots, courgettes, etc. I just can't find them. Steve has probably been "tidying up" and his method is to throw my things in the bin although he can never throw any of his stuff away!
When I was putting the food out for the blackbirds, etc on the sundial, Mrs Blackbird came within 2 feet of me waiting to get on and have her breakfast. They are so tame at the moment because I think they are trying to build nests, rear young, etc. I always find that spring makes them so much braver.

i was going to make similar comments as Beth; our robins are so different than these. I would have no idea this was a robin if you had not identified it. thank you - such a handsome little guy. great shot.
