All puffed up

Mr Robin was a long way across the field and he did flit around a bit but I still managed to get some shots of him. Thank goodness for a crop sensor camera! This is cropped to death but I liked this shot of him sitting on some planks of wood that are now sitting in Beauty's field. I don't know what they are doing with the field because the stable is still there but they have built a tennis court over the far side and they have put up new post and rail fencing and tarmacked the entrance to the field. I shall keep watching to see what happens.

Bas seems to be coping well but still cannot grip with his right foot but he is getting about the cage OK so unless anything else happens, I think he is getting to used to having only one set of claws for gripping and he uses his beak which is very strong to climb around the cage. We cancelled our trip to Norfolk as we didn't want to leave him in case anything happened and he got worse. We really could do with a break but Steve has said that he will come to Cambridge with me tomorrow so we can have lunch out.

Thank you for your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.
