He doesn't mind the prickles

I am pleased to say that I have seen a few more goldfinches over the past days and I saw this one along Wood Lane. He was standing on the thistles and he didn't seem to mind the prickles! The thistles are now going to seed and they like to eat the seeds. I was also delighted to see 2 goldfinches on the nyjer seed feeder in the garden. Welcome back goldfinches!
