Female blackbird by rosiekind

Female blackbird

Taken through the kitchen window while I was waiting for the Doctor at the hospital to ring regarding my foot. He did ring and he's going to refer me to the Surgeon - I know it will involve a lot of pain as I've been through it all before but I will cope with that when it happens.

I have given my resignation in at work so it now feels as though it's really happening and with the leave I am owed, it means that I have only got to work 5 more days! Yippee!!!

Thanks for getting yesterday's siskin on PP - it is really much appreciated. With more time on my hands, hopefully I shall be able to improve my photography.
Super details

What are you having done to your foot? Surgery I know, but what kind? I had surgery on my left foot. I have a scar from the side of my big toe, all along the side of my foot, around the ankle and part way up the calf. For the life of me I can't remember the long, long name they gave the procedure, but they had to go in a scrape scar tissue off of two of the tendons and then unwrap some veins that had some how gotten tangled up!! All that being said, it was not nearly as painful as I thought it was going to be or that they told me it was going to be. I certainly hope your's is not that extensive but will say some prayers for you, for an excellent surgery and speedy recovery!!! Love the blackbird! I can never get a close up like this, ours are so skittish!! FAV!
