What a beakfull by rosiekind

What a beakfull

I have only had time to take a quick shot of this great tit out of the kitchen window as I have been to work and then food shopping. I wanted to go to the market to get some more large sunflower seeds for Bas as the market trader had some nice big ones last week so I bought another 2 bags.

I visited an 80 year old lady this morning who wanted me to explain all the paperwork the council had sent her regarding her housing and council tax benefit which I helped her challenge. After reading through pages of information going back to 2014 which they said they had overpaid her and they were going to take it back gradually. She was pleased when I told her that they had in fact got their figures wrong by £800+ so she is going to be very much better off as they will take a much smaller outstanding amount reduced from the £1,200+ that they said she owed.

I then went on to a coffee morning in the next village to tell people there (most of whom I have helped in one way or another) that I would be retiring. They were sorry I was going but thanked me for the help I had given them and I said that I would probably pop over and see them to have some of their lovely home made cakes and coffee.

Thanks for getting yesterday's robin on PP and for all your lovely comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.
