A stranger to me

I have looked in the bird books but I can't find a duck that looks like this. I am hoping someone out there knows what it is but it was taken on Burnham Overy Staithe in Norfolk where we have been in the camper wagon for a couple of days which is why I haven't been on here and I'm a bit behind with posting.

Not able to help either, except once I sent a photo of a duck to my brother who know all ducks well - he said it was possibly a cross bred between several species, so no real identification :)

Rosie....my husband thinks it is a juvenile Shellduck. . Off the top of his head ... if that helps.
