Mrs Blackbird

I thought I would give you a rest from kingfishers today and I have managed to keep myself away. I took this shot as I was leaving the garden to go for a walk along Wood Lane as it is another beautiful day!

I thought the blue tits had abandoned the nest they were building in the camera nest box but saw one go in and out this morning and there are more feathers lining the nest. Perhaps they are a bit behind so that I can watch the chicks hatch when I return from Chicago. I hope so!

Great news I have just watched Mrs Bluetit laying 8 eggs! I think I shall probably see them hatch before I go
