I've had a lovely morning with Sarah @pixiemac in my usual spot to see the kingfisher. However, he was very elusive and kept us waiting for nearly 2 hours! We had positioned our cameras in a very different spot where we could view his favourite perch but be out of his line of sight. He flew past a couple of times and I don't think he could see us from either end of the brook but eventually (as we were nearly deciding to give up) he stopped and perched for us. What a cheeky chap to keep us waiting like that! Still he was worth waiting for as the sun was shining and it was a glorious day!
