This young goldfinch fledgling looked up at his Dad and I thought he must be asking whether he was doing alright because he was surrounded by other adult members of the finch family - namely a chaffinch and greenfinch. It is lovely to see how the finches feed together. There's no squabbling between them which is a bit different from the starlings and even the blackbirds get grumpy with each other.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend. The weather here is variable - bright sunshine one minute and a heavy shower the next.
