In a flap

I've had a may day today! Well I expect Teresa May has been as disappointed as I have! I went down the brook first thing, set up the camera and sat in the cold. I saw Bluey almost as soon as I arrived and he was flying around and I heard his whistle once but he didn't perch at all so I went home. Then I decided to try to fix the toilet that was making a noise when you flush it. I took the top off the cistern and thought I had located where the noise was coming from so pressed down on it to try to get rid of the vibration it was making. The wretched thing came off and water gushed out like a geyser! I shouted for help but by the time Steve came through I was drenched and so was the floor and most other places! He turned the water off at the mains and then located the piece that had come off and put it back on so it has behaved itself since. ~The mat is hanging on the washing line and I have dried out!

I decided I had better go to the bank and then call at RSPB where I took this photo. There wasn't much about so I toddled home before the traffic built up.

Thanks for getting all 3 of my images on PP yesterday and for all your kind comments and Favs - it is always much appreciated.
Great shot - it's been a crazy day, well even Year, in the UK! Hope things settle down soon

Can you come & fix one of our toilets which us doing exactly the same, it sort of moans when you flush, I think it might be a water pressure thing! Yes Teresa will be most disappointed as I was but hey ho on we go!
I see this peanut feeder is a squirrel proof one, does it work? Our squirrels are eating us out of house & home & peanuts are very pricy!

I do love that Robin's stance though. He looks as though he might be directing the traffic. Glad no harm done with the plumbing.
