I hope you aren't getting bored with my kingfishers but I seem to be obsessed with them! This morning I saw both male and female but only managed to photograph the male. I think they must have babies to feed as it is unusual to see them both flying about together. I suspect that this is a second brood. It is just lovely to see them and I took my spare camera with me to try to get some shots of the wrens but they weren't playing ball with me today. The pair of kingfishers flew past me along the brook and I would have loved to get a shot of them both flying but it always takes me by surprise. One day I might achieve it, you never know!
Anyway, this afternoon I drove to Biggleswade to go to Wilkos to get some more suet balls and other food for the birds but they had run out of the big tubs. The assistant said that they have huge deliveries of them each week but they go so quickly - just like the ones in my garden LOL
