I was lucky enough to get 3 different finches on the feeder together. The one on the left is a goldfinch, in the middle is the redpoll and there is a greenfinch at the back. They all love sunflower hearts and have been busy on the feeders all day.
I was interested in the RSPB Big Garden Bird watch results as birds on the decline are blackbirds and robins. I think they must all be in my garden as I have plenty each day!
I have put out the nesting wool for the birds so hopefully they will stay and nest in my garden as they have plenty of nest boxes to choose from. I think that I can put my hand on my heart and say that I am "giving nature a home" - the slogan for the RSPB.
Thanks for your kind comments and Favs and for getting both of my robin shots on PP. I didn't do particularly well at Camera Club last night with 2 16s and a 17/20. The Judge gave poor marks for some really lovely images that I think should have won. He didn't like blue skies or white skies! The subject was reflections and there were some lovely images that should have done better but photography is very subjective!
