I went down to the brook this afternoon as it isn't raining this afternoon - hooray! Sadly, I didn't see Bluey and I'm a bit worried as the brook is now really high and the water very fast. It's not the usual serene and peaceful place and there's lots of debris (small tree trunks, etc.) flowing along. It almost looks as though there's waves on the water and I had to paddle through a small pond that I thought looked like a puddle until I got into it! I wondered whether my boots would leak but fortunately they didn't!
Anyway, when I got home, I saw this little robin eating the robin seed out of one of the feeders in the front garden and he seemed to be enjoying his afternoon tea!
