i waited until this morning to go down the brook and I wasn't disappointed although I had to wait ages to see the little beauties! I was fiddling with my phone when I suddenly looked up and saw a kingfisher but as soon as I blinked, it had flown off so I don't know whether it was Bluey or Betsey. However, half an hour later, Betsey decided to perch on the stick momentarily and I got 4 very quick photos of her, one of them with her flying off. She did have a big fish and I'm still not sure whether the little ones have fledged or not because she didn't go to the nest. However, I didn't think she would be on Bluey's territory if they had fledged!
