I went for a walk around the village this afternoon as the sun was shining and it was a lovely day. I had been to the doctor's this morning for a blood test and went by public transport in the form of a bus! It was 11 minutes late and went all round the houses to get to the middle of Sandy so I thought that I was going to be late so I tried phoning the surgery to tell them that I was still on the bus but I couldn't get through as I was in a queue. No wonder people don't use public transport!
Anyway, I saw this lovely horse in a field where they want to build houses and I hope that they don't get permission as the Bedford Town Mayor thinks it would be alright to put 50 houses in our village. We have a very small school, a small shop and post office and not much else really apart from some lovely walks. I do hope it doesn't happen as this lovely horse will have to find somewhere else to graze as well as the other horses in this particular paddock.
