No parking in front of my gate - I might want to get out!
I didn't have a lot of time today and the light was really poor so I had a quick walk up to the village field to see whether there were any horses there. I found 5 horses in the field and when I called them, two of them came over to see what I had for them. Sadly I didn't have anything good to eat but this horse in particular, enjoyed a lot of stroking and we had a nice chat. The horses in the field are all rescue horses so they change from day to day but it's good to know that there are people who will find new homes for them as they are lovely horses. I would hate to think that someone wouldn't give them a good home because they always seem so nice and friendly.
I used to ride many years ago so I have always loved horses which are such gentle creatures, although they can be a bit wilful at times! It was great riding when it was windy (like today) because they always wanted to go faster and faster and it was exhilarating. It was nice to have time with my daughter who used to ride with me.
Thanks for all your kind comments and Favs and apologies for not spending much time on here lately but there seems so much to do and I'm not even having to cook Christmas dinner as we spend the days with friends down the road.
