I found this photo on a DVD among my other ones and thought I would post it today. I took this photo in 2013 and I was focusing on the poor little goldfinch who was eating seed when this sparrowhawk came down and promptly grabbed the poor little goldfinch. You can see the poor little bird under the sparrowhawk's feet as he held it down. I was so shocked but had to take the opportunity to capture this shot. Unfortunately, this is all part of nature and we cannot interfere with it.
