I sat out in the garden this afternoon and read my kindle. It was so lovely although I had to try to find a sunny spot as our next door neighbour's trees overshadow our house and this time of the year we don't get much sun in either the back or front garden. However, after I had taken this, I decided to put my camera on a tripod to photograph birds coming to the sundial where there are sultanas and suet pellets for them. I couldn't find my proper tripod so had to use my travel one and I'm not very good at setting it up as I have hardly used it. Then I thought I would use the wired trigger but then realised that the fitting on my D500 is not compatible so had to get the D7200 out. What a faff around! Changing lens, etc. to get the tripod collar to fit. Grrrrrrr Was it worth it? Probably not.
