RK3_0091 Full of life

I have had a lovely day with my good friend Sarah @pixiemac and we took Zac for a walk. He has a poorly paw at the moment but it didn't seem to hold him back. He's just so full of life and enjoys every minute.

An update on the fledgling blackbird. At dusk we put him in a cardboard box with some soft leaves inside and put him in the garage in the dark. This morning I went out and got him out of the box and left him under the shrubs near the conservatory which is near one of the places I leave food for the blackbirds. I also gave him some food nearby in case he felt like helping himself. While I was at Sarah's Steve sent me a text to say that as he had tried to feed it with a worm, it kept shouting and it's father came and fed the worm to him and has taken control. I was so relieved as I didn't sleep too well last night as I kept worrying about the poor little thing. Hopefully he will be OK now. I haven't seen him since I came home.

Thank you for getting yesterday's photo of Squizzer and the blue tit having a bath on PP. It is always much appreciated.
This guy isn’t letting that bandage hold him back. Good news about the fledgling. Usually best to try to see if parents can feed them. Good job

Update on Zak .... His cut pad is on the mend, going to take about 3 weeks as it has to heal from the inside out. Trying to slow a springer down is almost impossible, so it is lots of padding in the bandage and letting him just go for it!
