I saw this lovely whitethroat along Wood Lane this morning so I just had to take a few photos of him. It's not quite so warm today but the sun has been shining so it's not all bad.
Update on the little blackbird. He had moved from his original place in the garden so we thought we would leave him until it got nearer roosting time. When I went to check on him, he had moved and I couldn't find him so hopefully his parents took care of him. In the past we have rescued a young fledgling and put it in a cardboard box for the night. When we put him back outside, the parents came and took care of him so that was the plan if he had still been sitting on the ground. Thankfully we didn't have to do that.
Good news about the camera nest box. The blue tits have a nest with eggs in it but I'm not sure how many as Mummy was sitting on them when I looked. Hopefully we shall have a nice little blue tit family soon.
